Aeroacoustic Symposium

In memory of Fereidoun Farassat, this symposium is organized to discuss future challenges in aeroacoustics.

In the last decade, a profound transformation of the aeroacoustic field has been fostered by the progressive adoption of new experimental and simulation techniques by both academic and industrial players.

While some applications have become more mature in the scientific community, other applications are emerging with new theoretical, experimental and numerical challenges.

In an academic collaboration between:

TU Delft, PoliTo, Roma3 and the University of Naples Federico II,

the Symposium will be hosted at Villa Orlandi on the beautiful island of Capri, on the 27th-29th of September 2023.

Every invited participant will deliver a lecture on a specific topic by focusing on the emerging challenges in aeroacoustics.

The proceedings will be finally collected and published as a special issue of an archival journal.
